STARTING THE PATTERN

*Note: Can use the Single Crochet ST or the Half Double Crochet ST to create the Band.

CH for 75 STS Total [or to desired length, must be longer the headband. Mine was 5 inches longer]

[Note: The more Rows the thicker the headband will be]

R1-R4: 1HDC into all of the 75 STS at the end of each Row, turn work to continue.

At the final Row, Fasten off to complete work. **For 4 Rows or more for a more thicker headband look.

CUTTING THE FABRIC

Measure out the length of your crocheted band, to cut the fabric at the same exact length & width. Just with a few centimeters cut off at both ends for the fabric-All to align the middle/inside of the crocheted band.

Cut the fabric to apply with Fabric Adhesive to the back of the Fabric, onto the surface, interior of the crocheted band.

ATTACHING THE CROCHETED BAND

Add the fabric adhesive to the end of the actual headband, before covering the crocheted band [hot dog style] to secure the crocheted band to the actual headband. Press firmly to secure the ends in place.

Then with your yarn needle and a strand of yarn, begin to attach both ends [through the stitches -EXP: ROW1-ROW4 horizontally] of the crocheted band, over the actual headband. You can begin to scrunch the band as you attach the crocheted band over.

At the every end of the band, apply fabric adhesive [press firmly to secure the end in place] PRIOR to completing the last stitches to the actual headband.
