Travel Diary: My Partnership with One Big Happy!

I’m so very excited about this opportunity to make crochet tutorial videos with One Big Happy, a company that’s the perfect destination for yarn kits and crafting resources. I’ll be flying out to another state and making several videos for them (I’ll reveal more about this later). They’ve been a pure joy to work with and I can’t wait to make these videos and share some tips and techniques with you all. I’ve found such enjoyment in teaching others over the years and as I grow I want to help others.

Over on The Dream Crochet TikTok, I’ve been sharing my journey. This has been months in the making and I’ve thought very hard about how I wanted to present these crochet projects. The behind-the-scenes work is where the magic is conjured before it’s presented to everyone and I thought people might be interested to see my process.

I was so thrilled to make the special announcement that I’d be working with One Big Happy. This is the biggest opportunity I’ve had so far and it’s a dream come true. I hope to be doing many more of these in the future.

There was a lot of trial and error, but I picked out the looks I'll be wearing for the videos. I wanted them to be bright and inviting, and I believe that these sweaters get the job done. I still have another option I’m holding onto in case I need to switch something out.

For the plane trip, I wanted to wear something comfy and I had the perfect idea…but it needed a zipper. It’s probably going to be cold so I needed to be close it if necessary. Thankfully, I had a zipper that matched with this sweater so well, so it all turned out right in the end.
