Top 5 Crochet Skirts for Spring 2024

It’s that time of year again! By the time Springtime arrives, I’m excited to wear skirts again because they’re not always an option in the Winter. There are so many different ways to wear them and I’m always coming up with new ways to style them or new crochet designs. Sometimes I upcycle a denim skirt when I feel like creating a one-of-a-kind look, and other times I just want something fully crocheted and solid that goes well with a matching top. Skirts are the gifts that keep on giving.

This scalloped mini-skirt is simple yet effective. The scallops are subtle and I’m very much into minimalism nowadays. Kelly green is one of my newer favorite colors, it just looks so lively and fresh, and it looks so good with this Dream Duos fabric top I made using quilted mats with crocheted flutter sleeves and borders.

I made this design by accident, but I ended up loving it even more! I upcycled these jeans, but the sizing didn't come out quite right, so I turned it into a maxi skirt with a dramatic slit lined with cream crochet. It's soft and yet a bit dramatic and I love that combination. I like wearing lighter denim during Spring and Summer so I’ll be rocking garments like this often.

Light blue is one of my favorite colors this Spring and this Dream Duos quilted skirt turned out so beautiful. The skirt's tiered, which gives it dimension on top of texture and it's a bold design while being understated at the same time. This skirt is so much fun and I’m inspired to crochet more designs like this one.

The Milestone Crochet skirt is one of my favorites because of how comfortable it is. I used extra yarn to make sure it bunched just right and there's something so carefree about it. And the dark blue color (almost denim look) makes a perfect contrast if you want to wear a lighter top for contrast. When you want a relaxed skirt, this is the one to choose.

Bows instantly make an outfit more magical, and this bow skirt is one of my favorites. It's part of The Resting Crchet Top and Skirt set and the lace bows are just so romantic. The bows are lavender and it’s tonal with the darker purple background for that interesting contrast. I placed two bows on the front, but I like experimenting with the placement. You can never have too many of them, or run out of options. I want to incorporate more bows into my wardrobe this Spring.
