The Velour Mini Crochet Bag.
Hello there! With New Years swiftly approaching, wanted to create this handmade Wintery handmade accessory for the festive times!
MATERIALS

Used less than half a skein to create]
Yarn: Juicy Couture / Luxe Velour- Chunky 5, 100% Polyester, 107 yd. / 98 m.
US K/10.5-6.50MM Crochet Hook
Yarn Needle
Beaded/Chain Purse Handle [13 inches]
[2] Metal Jump Rings
Scissors
Measuring Tape
Fabric/Muslin, less than half a yarn
Needle and Thread [OR]
Hot Glue Gun or Fabric Adhesive [to add the fabric to the interior of the bag]
Stitch Markers
Bag Details:
19 inches across [width] X 5.5 inches [length]
Abbreviations:
CH [#] Turning Chain initiated
STS= Stitch [es]
SC= Single Crochet
HDC= Half Double Crochet
STARTING THE PATTERN
Note: Bag will be worked in Rows and in 1 long horizontal panel, then folded over to attach sides together.
CH FOR 42 STS
R1: CH1, 1SC across into 42 STS, turn work to continue.
R2-R10: CH2, 1HDC across into 42 STS, for every Row, turn work after each row to continue..
R11-R12: CH1, 1SC across into 42 STS, for both Rows, turn work after row to continue. At final Row [12] fasten off to complete work for this section.
ATTACHING THE FABRIC TO THE INTERIOR OF THE PANEL
Once the Full panel is complete. Cut the fabric, with less than half of inch of room, to apply with Fabric Adhesive or Hand sew around the perimeter. To one side of the Panel, attaching the Fabric, onto the surface, exterior.
ATTACHING THE BAG
Fold the Panel across [from the Row sides]-All to align with the other side of Rows. With your yarn needle and a strand of yarn. Attach the 2 sides of the panels together, along with the bottom row of STS together. Leaving only the top of the bag completely free.
ATTACHING THE JUMP RINGS
Guide the 2 metal Jump rings, into both corners of the Bags openings to secure them in place. So that the Purse handles can be guided into them.
