Top 5 Spring 2024 Fashion Trends

By the time Spring comes along, I'm very ready to shred the extra layers and put on lighter fits, and I'm so excited for this one coming up. It's exhilarating deciding how I want to change my style up, and I always try to find pieces that inspire me. That's really the key to making your personal style fun. When you know what you love to wear, picking out new clothing items becomes so much easier.

These are my top 5 Spring 2024 fashion trends.

Beautiful Bows

I never get tired of figuring out new ways to implement bows into my fashion. I love bows that adorn my top and bottoms, but they also look amazing on accessories and hair accessories. The crochet bow headband is still one of my favorites. Bows seem like such a simple design element, but they add so much to an outfit by making it pop with ease.

Athletic Looks

One of the best things about athletic styles is that they're designed for comfortability, but you also look cool in this style. Sweatpants, sweatshirts, and track jackets can be paired with more casual items so fashion still remains at the forefront. Wear an oversized blouse with track pants or a tank with a jacket and gym shorts for a sporty/casual contrast.

Feeling the Blues

Light blue is a color I'm drawn to this Spring. It makes me think of a clear blue sky or the wide ocean and it looks so good with so many different clothing options. Light blue jeans are must-haves, but blue tees and blouses can look marvelous in blue too. It's the perfect color coming out of the colder, darker months to brighten up your wardrobe.

Fringe Frenzy

Fringe is a lot more versatile than it might seem. Sure, it works great for vintage looks (and I love a '70s vibe) but fringe can be added to so many things and in subtler ways. A fringe bag can give your accessory an extra boost and a fringe-tastic pair of pants can be a more maximalist approach to fringe fashion.

Pencil Skirts

I love a fun miniskirt in the Summer, but Spring is a great time to rock pencil skirts. It's kind of likea middle-ground garment before the heat really kicks in. The structure of pencil skirts gives it more of a professional vibe, but I like to mix it up with more casual pieces like graphic tees or bandeau tops. Pencil skirts don't have to just be corporate attire.
