STARTING THE PATTERN
Note: Pattern is constructed in 2 Panels, [Front and Back]
Worked in multiples of 5
TCH does not counts as a single ST
May lengthen/increase the Rows, which will be coverage across for the Front and Back of the Top.
Both panels will be folded over then attached together, to create a V-Neckline and Back Design.
Measured from waist/going over shoulders to reach the same spot/sizing location.
[Worked in multiples of 5 + 2 single STS for the beginning of the row, and the end of the row.]
SM/MD: CH FOR 97 STS
LG/XL: CH FOR 102 STS
2XL/3XL: CH FOR 107 STS
4XL/5XL: CH FOR 117 STS
R1: CH1, 1SC across into 114 STS, turn work to continue.
R2: CH3, 1DC into the first ST, then skip 4 STS, **and into the 5 ST create—[ 2DC, CH1, 2DC all into the same ST] Skip 4 STS and…[**repeat from until the end of the Row, ending on 1 single 1DC ST into the last ST] turn work to continue.
R3-*R18: CH3, 1DC into the first ST, and **into the middle CH1 cluster space- Work—[ 2DC, CH1, 2DC all into the same CH1 space] …[**repeat from until the end of the Row, ending on 1 single 1DC ST into the last ST] turn work to continue.
[*NOTE: May increase rows here for the more length, the more rows, the more coverage for the Top]
R19: CH1, 1SC across into all of the STS, for the entire Row, At final Row, fasten off to complete work for this section.
REPEAT THIS SECTION TWICE FOR 2 LONG VERTICAL PANELS
FRONT AND BACK PANELS
ATTACHING THE FRONT AND BACK PANELS
Once the Front and Back Panels are complete. Using your yarn needle and a stand of yarn. Set the panels side by side and then fold both panels over.
Will be attaching the Front and Back Panels, last Row to each other for 25 STS [or more depending on front Neckline Opening.] Repeat for the Back attachment-for 35 STS]
NOTE: The less STS you attach, the more of an “open Neckline” look you will create. I wanted mine to slightly drape my shoulders, so I attached less STS to accommodate that specific look!
You’ll be attaching the STS together, first rows and last rows, to both panels. starting from the end of the Row, working towards the middle. This will create your Neckline as well as your Sleeves/Armholes. You’ll be attaching for the Neckline and the Bottom/Bodice Opening for your Top. Attaching STS for the bottom ST going up the row to attach
[BOTH FRONT AND BACK]
FINISHING DETAILS
Once both of the Panels are attached. Rejoin hook to creating the Finishing Technique for the Open Neckline and open Armholes/Sleeves. For One Round solely [or more for personal desired look] Rejoin hook into the ST of the Sleeve Openings for both [Left Sleeve and Right Sleeve] to create work.
THE FINISHED LOOK!
