Inside The Design: The Forest Cable Crochet Bag.
I truly love the Fall season for many reasons, and one of them is because of the fashion. Changing up the colors I wear and adding more layers is so refreshing, especially coming out of the warmer months, and accessories truly sweeten the deal. Creating handmade accessories was the start of my journey into the Crochet world, making hats, scarves, gloves and of course bags So returning into this Season with so much inspiration led me to create this special design. I loved making The Forest Cable Crochet Bag for Ribblr because it's super roomy (perfect for Yarn and of course, WIPS, plus it’s convenient, &the pattern is entirely available for Free!
I used the long-standing cable stitch for this bag, it's one of my favorite designs and it goes perfectly with a bag this size. I added some handles to this green bag and an extra linked chain for more options and to give it more style points. As much as I love small bags, the truth is I oftentimes need a lot of items (Mostly crochet accessories) with me and I can fit everything I need into this.
Ribblr was so kind to send me some special gifts and it’s all been so lovely. They have such a great website truly devoted to Makers and all things crafty, I truly appreciate their support and love seeing their amazing work grow. I received a logo canvas hat, Ribblr stickers, and Chocolate aid for Frogging (which is super cute!) It’s been so nice working with them for such a long time and creating projects featured on their website.
On my TikTok I did a What's in My Bag video because I was so excited to show it off. I had a Labyrinth-inspired craft pouch with my crafty tools, a notebook, some crochet projects, and elastic bands. This bag is already so useful and I hope others feel the same way too!
