How to Wear the Multi-Way Crochet Top

The Multi-Way Crochet Top is one of my newest crochet creation optional wear. The idea came when I realized how much I love all the different ways I wear halter tops, and I thought it would be cool to design one with that in mind. Whatever halter top mood I’m in, I can entirely change the way I wear it to fit that vibe. Check out the FREE crochet pattern for it here and on the Dream Crochet YouTube.

One of the things I love most about clothes is how they can be worn in different ways. I’ve noticed that most of my favorite items are versatile and that adaptability leads to me wearing them more. Sometimes they’re not the most extravagant pieces, but they tend to complement an outfit that really gives it an interesting punch.

Way #1

The first way is a straightforward option and the way most people wear them. All that you do is just tie the upper straps behind the neck and the lower straps at the waist. I would wear this with a more elaborate bottom, or a bottom that's meant to be the star of the show as it won't pull focus as much. This crochet maxi multi-colored skirt would was made using Yarnspirations yarn and it’s a fantastic option. It's beautifully attention-grabbing and cool all at the same time. Put on some colorful gelly sandals and you’ve got yourself a look!

Way #2

The next way is to crisscross the upper straps and tie it in the back. I think I've been wearing it like this the most lately. This is a little more elaborate and exposes more shoulders, which I adore. I would be more inclined to add more bracelets and charms and I like the idea of wearing some culottes like The Great Chill Pants that are nice and breezy and have an open stitch. I’d add some simple ballet flats for a cute and comfy look.

Way #3

The third way is to tie the upper straps at the neck and tie it in the back. I don’t wear it like this as often, but making this post has inspired me to do it more. For this one, I feel like denim and I’d wear this either with some ripped jean shorts or Dream Duos Denim shorts. These would look wonderful if the crochet of the shorts matched the top and neutral sneakers for a put-together look. The possibilities are truly endless!
